Microsoft Research Cambridge | 2005 - 2006
This research initiated by Abigail Sellen and Richard Harper investigated the use of text messaging sent from individual mobile phones and received on a situated display within the family home. This research was conducted through a long term field trial using a research 'probe' which was designed, developed and deployed in family homes around Cambridge.

I joined this project after a substantial amount of design and software development had been completed by Tim Regan. Consequently my initial task focused on a visual update of the user interface and general bug fixing.
